The location was perfect for our family visit with the dog – just a short walk to York parkrun! The room was super clean, and breakfast had plenty of great options. The local pub, Fox and Roman, was also a delightful find for a meal.

In my wife’s opinion, it would be great if the bathroom could be upgraded for better privacy with a functional door.

Humidity can be an issue, with windows that don't open for fresh air. Not enough towels for families and minimal coat hangers are offered. The bathroom door's lack of a lock adds an awkward touch to privacy. A lounge area would be appreciated for a more comfortable evening wind-down after a day out.
